Anne Keothavong crashed out of Australian Open qualifying at the first hurdle today but British No4 Johanna Konta went through.
Keothavong went down 7-5, 7-5 to American Grace Min, having blown a chance to level the contest, leading 5‑2 in the second set.
World No153 Konta beat Latvia’s Anastasija Sevastova 6-3, 6-7, 6-4 to set up a match against Yi-Miao Zhou of China, who is ranked No169.
