UFC fighter Mike Perry was caught on video appearing to punch an older man at a Texas restaurant before using racial language.

Perry appeared to strike the man after being asked to leave a restaurant in Lubbock, Texas. TMZ report he was involved in an incident with a member of staff after being asked to leave.

Perry’s girlfriend is seen in the video trying to get the agitated welterweight to leave. Several bystanders follow the couple out, appearing to try and calm the 28-year-old.

One of the bystanders is then involved in another verbal exchange with Perry before he strikes - while it is not clear in the video which of the men prompts the skirmish.. Perry is then seen sitting down on a nearby ledge urging people to call the police and can be heard using the N-word.

Perry is also heard shouting, “if you touch me, you are going to die.”

ESPN report an incident report was filed with the Lubbock Police Department who responded to the scene, but Perry was not arrested and no charges were filed.

In the hours since the video emerged, Perry has written 'no comment' on his Twitter page.

Standard Sport has approached UFC officials for comment.
