Phillips the only danger, insists Lee

13 April 2012

Goalkeeper Richard Lee says Watford will win their promotion clash with West Brom if they can stop Kevin Phillips.

The Championship's leading goalscorer has netted 22 times in the League this term to fire the Baggies to the top of the table.

Lee will face the 34-year-old at the Hawthorns and said: "Kevin Phillips is a top striker - he will be tricky and we will have to keep him quiet."

Watford go into the match on the back of the shock 3-0 defeat to Barnsley and although Lee admits the result left the team feeling "pretty low" he is expecting the right response tomorrow.

He said: "We're going to have to do things the hard way now and win our remaining games. West Brom is our biggest yet.

"But hopefully we will bounce back - we normally do."
