Pienaar and Zondagh get vote of confidence

Francois Pienaar and Alan Zondagh will remain in charge of Saracens despite the club's alarming slump in form.

Owner Nigel Wray said chief executive Pienaar and director of rugby Zondagh still have his full backing despite a run of five defeats in their last six games.

Wray said today: "We are battling against a run of horrendous injuries that mean we are down to our fourth-choice outside-half.

"You do not suddenly become a useless side a couple of weeks after you led the league and we will get a number or key guys, like Tim Horan and Duncan McRae, back very soon."
