Pienaar happy despite Sarries loss

Saracens chief executive Francois Pienaar was also happy with his side?s performance, despite their 12-8 defeat at Wasps.

The visitors were beaten in the main by Kenny Logan?s kicking skills, but Pienaar said: ?I?m impressed how the whole team played.

?We?ve started the season without seven of our main players. We made some silly mistakes but we could have won it.?

Wasps director of rugby Nigel Melville was not impressed, however. He said: ?We played too much of the game in our own half and from there you can?t score tries. There was very little flowing rugby.?
