Randell lift to Cup bid

14 April 2012

Former All-Black captain Taine Randell is back from injury to help Saracens keep their Heineken Cup dream alive.

Saracens have to break a long standing duck if they are to claim an automatic qualification place at Kingsholm tomorrow.

Sarries have never beaten Gloucester in 14 previous league and cup clashes but they have an outstanding opportunity to end that dreadful run tomorrow.

Gloucester are limping to the finish line having lost three successive home games - their worst run for a decade.

If Sarries win and collect a bonus point they could finish third and qualify for the play-off semi-finals against Leicester or Wasps, but it is more likely their next match will be a wild-card semi-final at Watford next Friday night.
