Real bid for Chelsea target Alves

Chelsea's hopes of signing Daniel Alves suffered a blow last night when Real Madrid bid £25million and Brazilian full back Cicinho for the Sevilla defender and teammate Antonio Puerta.
Sevilla have rejected a £17m bid from Chelsea, who are adamant they will not go any higher.
