Resignation row adds to scandal

The split in the British Showjumping Association over the treatment of chief executive officer Jacky Wood, revealed by

BSJA chairman Peter Gillespie and treasurer Graham Hudson accused Wood of improper behaviour but today it was revealed that Blacker resigned on 18 February but his letter has not been acknowledged by Gillespie.

Michael Bullman, chairman of the BSJA, said: "I am relieved not to be on the board with people who can mentally harass an honourable person.

"Kate Battersby's article in the Standard highlighted the views held by many in the Association."
