It was a case of Lost, Defeated and Vanquished for Brentford in the LDV Vans Trophy Final last Sunday, but Ray Lewington had no complaints since Port Vale deserved their victory. The Bees undoubtedly have character, however, and it was only a last-minute goal in midweek that cost them all three points against relegation candidates Cambridge. It could be tougher tomorrow against a Rotherham side who still fancy their chances of automatic promotion.
