Rovers duo extend deals

Hull KR's Australian half-backs Michael Dobson and Blake Green will continue their partnership until the end of 2014 after extending their contracts with the club.

The former Australian Schoolboy internationals were both out of contract at the end of 2012 but have signed new three-year deals.

"There's been a bit of speculation but I'm really happy to have sorted it out and I'm really happy in Hull," said Dobson, who has also had spells in Super League with Catalan Dragons and Wigan. "I get along really well with Blake, who's probably been our best performer this year, and I'm happy he's going to be staying with me here for the next few years."

Green, 24, has missed only one match in his first season at Craven Park after moving from Canterbury Bulldogs.

"I'm very happy to get it sorted and very happy to be staying alongside Dobbo for the next few years," he said.

"We've got some good young kids coming through and I'm excited to be part of their future and part of their development."
