Rowlands injury is further Bees blow

Martin Rowlands will have treatment on a groin injury today as Brentford's promotion hopes were dampened by a shock 2-0 defeat at Bury.

Rowlands limped off in the first half at Gigg Lane with a recurrence of an old problem that has bothered him all season. "Martin coming off was a blow," said manager Steve Coppell.

The Bees can still guarantee automatic promotion, however, if they win their last three games.

Remaining League games: 6 Apr, Huddersfield (H); 13 Apr, QPR (A); 20 Apr, Reading (H)
