Bradford centre Adrian Purtell had a heart attack after Sunday’s clash with Leeds, the rugby league club confirmed today.
The 27-year-old had surgery at Leeds General and is expected to remain there for the week.
Bradford boss Stuart Duffy said: “Adrian had an immediate primary angioplasty to remove the blockage in his artery but at no time did he suffer a cardiac arrest.”
