Howell breaks arm in Broncos opener

London Broncos have confirmed that centre David Howell broke his arm in the opening defeat to Widnes Vikings.

Howell (above) suffered the injury in the second half of the fixture and was taken to hospital after the game. No set time has been set for Howell’s recovery period at this stage.

Craig Gower, who left the field early in the first half, will be working with the club physiotherapists this week, but the injury that caused him to leave the field “doesn’t look too serious”.
