London Skolars have signed former Toulouse Olympique XIII and Avignon player Patelisio Pelo.
Pelo, known to Rugby League fans as Tely Pelo, arrives in the UK to bolster Joe Mbu's squad ahead of the 2014 Kingstone Press Championship 1 campaign, which begins on the March 2.
Known to have a good turn of pace, Skolars head coach Joe Mbu is sure Pelo has all the ingredients to make him a firm fans favourite at New River.
Mbu said: "Whilst a lot of the focus has been on some of the players who departed the club in the close season, such as Dylan Skee and James Anthony, I have been working hard to make sure we have quality players coming into the club who can make a real impact this coming season.
"There was considerable interest from a number of clubs in acquiring Tely's services so I am delighted he has decided that the next phase of his career will be spent with Skolars."
