Chris Robshaw raises the stakes

10 April 2012

Chris Robshaw admits England must raise their game to defeat Wales at Twickenham tomorrow.

Impressive wins over Ireland and Scotland mean Warren Gatland's side are favourites to take the Triple Crown against an inexperienced England team.

The defending champions are also still on course for a Grand Slam but skipper Robshaw accepts the rugby his side have produced in their first two matches will not be enough to beat Wales.

He said: "We've made a steady start but we have to go up another notch against Wales.

"Wales are playing a very expansive game. They have a defence based on fitness and have been very public about their experience in going to Poland [for a training camp]. We've got work to do. It will be a challenge but one we are looking forward to."
