England centre Piers Francis has been cited for a dangerous tackle in the 45-7 Rugby World Cup victory over the USA on Thursday.

Francis caught Will Hooley with a shoulder-led challenge to the head in the opening seconds of the victory over the Eagles at Kobe Misaki Stadium.

The Northampton playmaker's hearing will take place in Tokyo on a date yet to be determined and he could face a significant ban if the citing is upheld.
