Sarcens are hoping to welcome back England trio George Kruis, Maro Itoje and Owen Farrell for this weekend’s Heineken Champions Cup quarter-final with Glasgow Warriors.

Farrell and Kruis missed Saturday’s 27-20 Premiership win over Harlequins as they were rested, while Itoje was not fully fit from a knee injury he picked up during England’s opening win of the Six Nations on February 2.

The second row is nearing full fitness, though, and it is hoped he could return for Saturday’s match against Glasgow at Allianz Park.

Saracens, however, could be without scrum-half Richard Wigglesworth for their European quarter-final.

The 35-year-old missed Saturday’s match at the London Stadium with a groin strain and will be assessed by the club’s medical staff.

However hooker Jamie George, who was struggling with a rib problem towards the end of the win over Harlequins, is fit to face Glasgow.
