Ollie Smith's scan results are a relief for Quins

Harlequins centre Ollie Smith could face Newcastle on Saturday after fears over a serious knee injury were allayed.

Scans have revealed that the England international suffered only minor damage during last weekend's 40-13 win over Exeter.

Director of rugby Conor O'Shea said: "It looked bad but the scans have been good."
