England fought back in Cardiff on Saturday to move top of the Six Nations standings courtesy of Elliot Daly’s late try against Wales.

Eddie Jones’s perfect record as England boss appeared to be on the line with Wales having lead since late in the first half, before a kicking error and late charge saw England claw victory from the jaws of defeat.

The result saw Jones’s side leapfrog Ireland into top spot, who themselves had recorded a memorable victory of their own.

Their 63-10 win in Rome was the biggest Six Nations victory over their history, in which CJ Stander and Craig Gilroy both scored hat-tricks.

Elsewhere, Scotland were unable to make it two from two, falling to a 22-16 defeat to France in Paris.
