Safin gives sister advice

Fourth seed Marat Safin moved into the fourth round with a 6-4, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 win over 28th seed Mario Ancic of Croatia and then admitted his sister had yet to speak to him following disparaging comments the Russian made about her career.

Safin's sister Dinara lost to Amelie Mauresmo in the second round and he claimed she was "missing the train" because of a lack of commitment.

Safin said today: "It takes a little bit of time for them [women] to calm down and to think properly because they go with their emotions and then use their head."
