Sanderson raring to go

After a long season at Harlequins and a tough triumph over New Zealand with the England Sevens team at Twickenham last Sunday, Pat Sanderson could be forgiven for wanting a rest.

But the flanker is raring to go now he has joined up with the England A squad in Calgary for the Churchill Cup and cannot wait for Sunday's opening game against hosts Canada.

Sanderson, who only arrived in Canada on Monday night, took part in his first training session yesterday. He said: "I've only been here three days but it feels like ages and I just want to play rugby."
