Sandown called off

Tomorrow's Sandown Park card has been abandoned due to waterlogging.
Following an inspection this morning, officials also decided that the hurdle course at the Esher track would not be fit for racing on the second day of the meeting on Friday either.
Clerk of the course Andrew Cooper said: "We've abandoned tomorrow and have taken the decision that the hurdle course will not be raceable on Friday either.
"We will proceed with the all-steeplechase option on Friday, adding the three chases from Thursday to the three on Friday, and I suspect that will be subject to an inspection some time tomorrow."
Warwick's meeting on Saturday is subject to an inspection at 3pm tomorrow. The course remains waterlogged.
