Scotland goalkeeper David Marshall (elbow) and midfielder Graham Dorrans (groin) have withdrawn from the squad to face Sweden this week, the Scottish Football Association announced on Monday.

Everton goalkeeper Iain Turner has been called up and is on his way up to Glasgow to meet up with the squad ahead of the flight to Stockholm on Monday afternoon.

Midfielder Scott Brown is still struggling with a foot injury but the Celtic skipper is keen to travel with the squad.

Craig Levein will travel from Glasgow airport this afternoon with a weakened squad for the last friendly game before the Euro 2012 qualifiers begin in September with a double header against Lithuania and Liechtenstein.

Lee McCulloch (viral infection), Alan Hutton (groin) and Andy Webster (hamstring) were ruled out over the weekend.

The Scotland boss had already lost number one keeper Craig Gordon to a broken arm and defender Gary Caldwell, who had two hip operations during the summer.

Dundee United duo Scott Robertson and Garry Kenneth have been drafted in to the squad.
