Sheffield United v Crystal Palace

13 April 2012

(3pm, Bramall Lane)
Away ticket info: £18 (£9 concs) Palace fans can buy tickets on the day
Last season: 3 (Marcelo 2, Ford) 1 (Morrison)
Fact: Goals from Bruce Dyer (2) and Dean Gordon gave Palace their last win at Bramall Lane in August 1995. The Blades are unbeaten in their last three games
Former Eagle Neil Shipperley certainly twisted the knife against his old side when the Barnsley striker scored his first goal in 15 games to beat Alan Smith's side during the week. Palace now need a win or two to haul themselves up into an absolutely safe mid-table position, but may find it difficult against an improving and physically imposing Sheffield United side who feel they can make promotion this season. Chinese defender Fan Zhiyi (hamstring) is still ruled out but new signing Ricardo Fuller will be hoping for a first start after coming off the bench at Oakwell.
VERDICT: EAGLES GROUNDED
