Sidebottom strikes for England

England left-arm seamer Ryan Sidebottom claimed the only wicket to fall during the opening hour at Lord's today.

New Zealand resumed the opening npower Test on 208 for six and narrowly avoided an early run-out following a mix-up between Daniel Vettori and Jacob Oram.

However, Sidebottom found the outside edge of Oram's bat and Andrew Strauss took a safe catch at first slip, reducing the tourists to 222 for seven.
