Skelton plans Vegas date

Matt Skelton is hoping his reward for retaining the British and Commonwealth heavyweight titles against Keith Long will be a fight on the undercard to next month's world championship contest in Las Vegas between Vitali Klitschko and London's Danny Williams.

Unbeaten Skelton, who had to wait until the 11th round to stop Long at a packed York Hall in Bethnal Green on Friday, said: "We haven't thought about any opponents but we were confident I would beat Long."

Should Williams defeat WBC champion Klitschko on 11 December, his first defence could be against Skelton at the ExCel Arena in London's Docklands early next year.
