Southampton v Charlton

13 April 2012

(3pm, The Dell).
Away ticket info: Charlton have sold out their allocation
Fact: Garth Crooks scored the winner for Charlton on the last occasion they won at The Dell - 1-0 in March 1988
Recommended pub: The Pensioners Arms (29 Carlton Place)
No matter how you wrap it up, Charlton's FA Cup draw with Dagenham & Redbridge last Saturday was an embarrassment. Now Alan Curbishley's men face the dubious pleasures of Victoria Road for the replay and any Addick of a nervous disposition should, perhaps, stay on their side of the Thames. Before that, though, Charlton face a tricky trip to Southampton, where Glenn Hoddle is doing a good job and Eileen Drewery is hardly ever mentioned. One man who could do with some healing hands, however, is Charlton's Finnish striker Jonatan Johansson, who is out for a month with knee problems.
VERDICT: DISMAL DELL FOR CHARLTON
