Sox and Tigers do it again

Magglio Ordonez hit two home runs, including a grand slam to bring home runners on all three bases, to help the Chicago White Sox to a record-equalling 17-9 victory over the Detroit Tigers.

The two teams scored 12 home runs between them, tying the American League and major league record for most home runs in one game.

The same teams set the previous best in 1985.
