Spurs plan to pull a Rosicky

14 April 2012

Czech international Tomas Rosicky is being targeted for a summer move to Tottenham.

The midfielder is understood to be keen to quit Borussia Dortmund and the German club have confirmed they have received an inquiry from Spurs.

Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc said they had told the 24-year-old and his representatives about Tottenham's interest.

Rosicky is contracted to Dortmund until 2008, but has previously expressed a desire to move to a bigger club. Porto and Juventus have also been linked with the player. He has scored three goals in 19 appearances for Dortmund this season.

Meanwhile, Manchester City's players want Tottenham defender Thimothee Atouba punished for allegedly elbowing Joey Barton off the ball.

The Football Association will review video evidence today and consult referee Barry Knight about the incident during Spurs' 2-1 win at White Hart Lane on Saturday.
