Stan Moore expects Total Gallery will benefit from running off level weights in Tuesday's King's Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot.

Thanks to his Group One victory in the Prix de l'Abbaye last autumn, the four-year-old has been penalised in his first two starts this season, when sixth in the Palace House Stakes and fifth in the Temple Stakes.

"He'll run in the King's Stand and it will be nice for him not to have to carry a 7lb penalty this time," said Moore. "He seems in great form and we're hoping for a big run. Richard Hughes is going to ride him - he's ridden him a few times before."

Brian Meehan is still undecided as to which race Arcano will run in at the Royal meeting.

Unbeaten last season when signing off with a Group 1 victory in the Prix Morny at Deauville, he finished third behind Canford Cliffs in the Greenham Stakes on his seasonal return.

Meehan said: "Arcano is down for the St James's Palace Stakes but he's a possible for the Golden Jubilee as well. After the Greenham, he got a little bit sick and things didn't work out."

Crowded House, who has not won since landing the Group 1 Racing Post Trophy at Doncaster in October 2008, is being primed from a run in the Group 2 Hardwicke Stakes next Friday. Meehan said: "He in good form. "

Trainer Michael Jarvis has hinted his talented young stayer Opinion Poll could miss next Thursday's Ascot Gold Cup. He said: "We'll see what the ground is like - it would have to be on the soft side for him to run in the Gold Cup."

Meanwhile, jockey Jamie Spencer is in a race against time to be fit for the Royal meeting after he came down with a bout of chicken pox. He gave up his four rides today.
