Steve McNamara sticks with same England side after try bonanza

Steve McNamara today named an unchanged side for England's Four Nations clash against Australia at Wembley.

England opened their tournament campaign by crushing Wales 42-4 but a much tougher challenge awaits on Saturday in the form of the 2009 champions.

Australia showed why they are the best rugby league side on the planet when they saw off world champions New Zealand 26-12 last week but McNamara is excited at the prospect of taking on the old enemy.

"It's not just sport," said the England coach. "With everything to do with England and Australia there's a rivalry. Playing at Wembley makes it more special.

"I've gone with continuity with this side. There are seven great players waiting to get an opportunity but, for now, I'm sticking with the same line-up."

England ran in eight tries at the Leigh Sports Village last week and held out until the 64th minute before Wales managed a score.

McNamara said: "I'm really pleased at what I saw from us and the momentum we have from that game. But it's not just about what happened last Friday, this has been a project throughout the year, and the hours we've put in should stand us in good stead.

"It's not just conceding the try that we did against Wales that we will look at. Like in every game, there are things that went well and things we need to work on."
