Steward predicts Lewis return

Emanuel Steward, one of the closest men to Lennox Lewis, believes there is a good chance that the former world heavyweight champion will make a comeback this year.

Steward was instrumental in guiding Lewis to the undisputed title in 1999 and the veteran American trainer was in his corner when he fought for the last time against Ukraine's Vitali Klitschko in June 2003.

Last month Lewis said he had no intention of fighting again but Steward said today: "It is 65 per cent Lennox will fight before the end of 2005. It's hard to pass up £22.5million for one fight he'll probably win."
