Surrey set for showdown

Surrey's bid for a domestic treble will be back on course if they manage to beat Gloucestershire under The Oval floodlights today.

Adam Hollioake's team have already lifted the Twenty20 Cup and still lead the championship race, despite mounting pressure from Sussex and Lancashire. Gloucestershire are top of the National League's first division, although Surrey have a game in hand and will draw level if they win.

Surrey will include England candidates Graham Thorpe and Jimmy Ormond in today's team.

Fixtures - Division One: Essex v Glamorgan. Surrey v Gloucestershire. Division Two: Durham v Nottinghamshire, Somerset v Middlesex, Sussex v Hampshire.
