Tait puts England on back foot

Australia were firmly in the driving seat at Lord's as England stuttered to 104 for five in the fifth NatWest Series clash.

Replying to Australia's 277 for seven, Shaun Tait's extreme pace was too much for England captain Andrew Strauss and promoted number three Mike Yardy, removing both in the same over as he cranked the speed gun up to approaching 100mph.

Craig Kieswetter, Eoin Morgan and Kevin Pietersen were the next three batsmen to go, but Paul Collingwood (51 not out) and Luke Wright (11no) steadied the ship.
