Taylor reaches Vicarage Road end

Graham Taylor took charge of his last Watford home game, a 1-1 draw with Tranmere, but vacated Vicarage Road secure in the knowledge that he has left the club in a good state for his successor.

Former Chelsea manager Gianluca Vialli is tipped to be confirmed as Taylor's replacement when he retires at the end of the season.

Taylor said: "Whoever takes over will have, in a sense, millions because this club does not owe any money. A new manager can come in and have money to spend."
