Andy Murray faces a big test at the Miami Open as he plays Daniil Medvedev in the second round.
The Brit beat Federico Delbonis 7-6 6-1 in his opening match of the tournament, to set up the clash against the world number two. Medvedev will once again overtake Novak Djokovic at the top of the rankings if he reached the semi-finals in Miami.
Murray has not won consecutive matches at a tournament since the Sydney International at the start of the year, and if he’s to break that run he knows he will have to be at his very best.
“Obviously a tough match,” Murray said. “He’s played extremely well on the hard courts the last few seasons. He deserves to be right up there at the top of the game.
“It’ll be a big challenge for me, it’ll be a great test. I’ve got a big training block after this tournament, and it’ll be a really good test, for where my game’s at and things I need to work on as well, against him.
“So I’m looking forward to that.”

The round of 64 match between Andy Murray and Daniil Medvedev will take place on Saturday, March 26.
The players are scheduled to take to the court at approximately 4pm GMT on Saturday afternoon.
