Terry fit to travel for Sofia clash

Sofia so good: John Terry could start for Chelsea in Bulgaria
14 April 2012

John Terry has been declared fit to join his Chelsea team-mates on their Champions League trip away to Levski Sofia.

Terry trained this morning before travelling with Jose Mourinho's squad on the plane to Bulgaria.

The Blues captain missed Saturday's 2-0 win at Fulham after suffering muscle spasms in his back during training on Friday.

The problem worsened overnight, and he was forced to miss his first match of the season - but he has been treated by an osteopath over the weekend.

He felt well enough to train today and hopes to lead the team out on Wednesday. Chelsea's Dutch defender Khalid Boulahrouz, who missed the game at Craven Cottage with an eye infection, is also expected to be fit.
