Thorpe breaks another record

13 April 2012

Ian Thorpe set his second world record in as many days, breaking Pieter van den Hoogenband's mark in the 200 meters freestyle at the Australian swimming championships.

The 18-year-old's time of 1 minute 44.69 seconds was 0.66 of a second inside the Dutchman's best set at the Sydney Olympics.
