Tigers eye play-off place

Thames Valley Tigers stepped up their claim for a play off berth in the BBL Championship with a 99-88 success over Brighton Bears.  

The Tigers had to withstand a late Bears rally after the hosts started the final quarter with a 7-1 run to take a 71-70 lead.

The Tigers regained control instantly rattling off the next 10 points to make the game safe.

Bears' Wilbur Johnson was unstoppable with 32 points while Kelvin Robinson had 29 for the Tigers.
