Leicester Tigers secured their ninth Guinness Premiership victory of the season by beating Gloucester 33-11 at Welford Road to maintain their dominance at the top of the table.

Lote Tuqiri, Geordan Murphy and Ben Youngs were the try-scorers for the hosts, while England international Toby Flood contributed 18 points with the boot.

Nicky Robinson kicked two early penalties for Gloucester before Jonny May touched down in the second half.

Harlequins produced their best league display for some weeks to defeat Northampton 13-6.

Mike Brown scored the only try of the game in the 20th minute, while Nick Evans kicked the conversion and two penalties.

Stephen Myler was successful with two penalty attempts for the visitors but Quins comfortably held on for the win.

Bath registered their fourth successive Premiership victory by punishing a woefully indisciplined Worcester outfit 37-13 at the Recreation Ground.

Worcester flanker Tom Wood was sent off in the 62nd minute following his second yellow card offence, and Bath coasted to a five-point maximum by scoring three tries after he departed.

Joe Maddock's first-half double was backed up by touchdowns for his fellow wing Matt Banahan, scrum-half Michael Claassens and substitute back-row forward Jonny Faamatuainu, while centre Ryan Davis booted three conversions and two penalties.

Fly-half Jimmy Gopperth kicked three second-half penalties to earn Newcastle their fourth Guinness Premiership draw of the season and leave London Irish still searching for their first win of 2010 after the 12-12 stalemate.
