Toner ready for Macclesfield clash

Summer arrival Ciaran Toner has recovered from a foot injury in time for tonight's Third Division clash with Macclesfield.

The former Tottenham midfielder has been added to the squad for the game at Brisbane Road. Brush said: "Ciaran's in the 16 and I'll make my mind up nearer the time. Those not involved tonight will have to put it in in the reserves on Wednesday and show that they should be playing. Competition for places is only healthy."

Brush is encouraged by the way his squad is shaping up despite Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Rochdale. "If we play like we did on Saturday then we'll do more than okay this season," he said.
