Top Rankin on target

Isaiah Rankin capped a day of celebrations at Brentford with the only goal in their 1-0 victory over Reading.

The club arranged the friendly to mark 100 years at Griffin Park and also staged an exhibition match between former Brentford players.

Rankin's goal came in the 26th minute after strike partner Deon Burton nodded down John Salako's cross.

Martin Allen's side are unbeaten and yet to concede a goal in their pre-season matches.
