Facts: Spurs were unbeaten in August for the first time since 1986. Ian Wright was on the scoresheet for West Ham the last time they won at White Hart Lane, a 2-1 victory in April 1999.

Glenn Hoddle's decision to leave Robbie Keane on the bench against Fulham looked pretty good when his side were two up at half-time. To be honest, the problems were all up the other end of the pitch for Spurs in the second half as Fulham came rampaging back to spoil the party. Keane may get his chance on Sunday, though, and Tottenham's position still looks a whole lot more comfortable than West Ham's, following their home defeat by everyone's favourites to go back down, West Brom. There's no need to panic yet but the Hammers must snap out of it quickly, before the trough becomes a full-scale depression.
Verdict: SPURS ON TOP
