Manchester City defender Kolo Toure hopes to be back soon after being suspended for a positive drugs test.

Toure, 29, appeared at the Soccerex conference in Manchester but refused to be drawn on the controversy. The Ivory coast international has been suspended after testing positive for a specified substance - according to Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger after taking one of his wife's diet pills.

Toure toured the exhibitors stands and, asked if he had a message for City fans, said: "I will be back soon - I hope so."
