Unsworth's move blow

David Unsworth has spoken of his frustration after his expected move to Bolton broke down at the 11th hour.

The former West Ham defender, who is out of contract after refusing a new deal at Everton, said: "I got a phone call from Bolton to tell me they were pulling out of the deal as the board weren't prepared to sanction it.

"Myself and Bolton manager Sam Allardyce are obviously frustrated."

A club spokesman said: "We didn't agree personal terms."
