Vieri blasts fickle Inter fans

13 April 2012

Christian Vieri has berated Inter Milan's fickle fans and said he will not celebrate his goals at the San Siro stadium until they get off his back.

Vieri scored Inter's 69th minute equaliser in a 1-1 home draw with Parma yesterday but turned his back on the crowd after scoring and walked calmly back to the centre circle.

He said: "I didn't like the crowd, just as I didn't like them last weekend. It's not fair to barrack a player who has been out for nearly 10 months and is doing everything he can to play again and get back into form.

"I don't think I'll celebrate at the San Siro for a long time."
