Wales heading in right direction

Wales 33 France 37

Wales caretaker coach Steve Hansen believes the 37-33 loss to France signals an improvement in Welsh fortunes and he wants to build on this showing with 494 hours of training!

"We have some areas to work on and it won't happen in five minutes," said Hansen. "We have 500 hours of training to do and we have had six hours training in the last week.

That means we have 494 hours to go. The big thing is to keep working away at the basics."

Wales were only denied by Italian video referee Claudio Giacomel who ruled out injury-time 'tries' by skipper Scott Quinnell and wing Dafydd James as Hansen's team threatened to come back from a 34-19 deficit.
