Wales silver for Jones

Francesca Jones claimed a rhythmic gymnastics silver medal for Wales on the final day of the Commonwealth Games in Delhi.

Jones scored 24.750 points in the hoop women's final to take the silver behind Malaysian Elaine Koon who scored 25.300 for gold.

Chrystalleni Trikomiti of Cyprus took the bronze medal with 24.500.

Jones qualified for all four apparatus. She finished fourth in the rope earlier and was due to compete in the ball and ribbon competitions directly after securing her hoop silver.

"This will change my future in a good way," she said. "Right now I just have to concentrate on my next two routines.

"I will appreciate this win much more later."
