Walker blow for Rovers

12 April 2012

Hull KR centre Chev Walker has been ruled out for at least three months and could even miss the rest of the season with a dislocated shoulder sustained in Sunday's 24-12 defeat at Warrington.

The 26-year-old former Leeds and Great Britain player missed the last three months of last season with a wrist injury but has appeared in five of Rovers' six matches so far this season.

"We don't know how much damage there is in there until the surgeon actually gets in there," coach Justin Morgan told the Hull Daily Mail.

"It's hard to say how long he will be out for but he's going to need an operation so we are talking 12 weeks at this stage."
