Watford delay start of stand

Watford today announced that they have put plans to begin building their new, £7.5 million Main Stand on hold.

The work was expected to start this summer but Tim Shaw, the First Division club's chief executive, explained: "There are gaps in the financial plan which will need some work. "The stand will be built. It's just a question of when."
